For the past ten nights, the Masjid Al-Rida community has gathered each evening to remember the timeless message of Imam Hussain (ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ) and the tragedy of Karbala.
Together, we have recited the Holy Qur’an, listened to inspiring Majalis, recited Ziyarat Imam Hussain (ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ), participated in Latm, shared blessed meals, and strengthened our faith as one community.
Each night has reminded us of the values that Imam Hussain (ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ) stood forโfaith, patience, sacrifice, justice, and unwavering trust in Allah.
As we reach the final night before Ashura, our hearts turn to the day that forever changed history.
A Message That Lives On
Ashura is not only a day of mourning. It is a day of reflection.
It reminds us that standing for truth may require sacrifice, that faith is strongest in times of hardship, and that goodness can never be defeated by oppression.
More than 1,300 years later, the stand of Imam Hussain (ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ) continues to inspire millions of people around the world.
Our Journey Together
Over these ten blessed nights at Masjid Al-Rida, our community has:
- Recited the Holy Qur’an together.
- Reflected on the lessons of Karbala through the Majlis.
- Recited the Ziyara of Imam Hussain (ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ).
- United in Latm to express our love and grief.
- Shared blessed food (niyaz) with family, friends, and visitors.
- Welcomed people of all ages to remember the legacy of Ahlul Bayt (ุนูููู ุงูุณูุงู ).
These gatherings are more than eventsโthey are opportunities to strengthen our connection with Allah and renew our commitment to living by the values taught by Imam Hussain (ุนููู ุงูุณูุงู ).
