Annual Australian Qur’an Recitation Competition 2025 – A Celebration of Excellence

We are pleased to share the results from this year’s Annual Australian Qur’an Recitation Grand Final, a remarkable national gathering celebrating the voices and hearts devoted to the Holy Qur’an.
Masjid Al-Rida (St Marys) proudly congratulates our young brother Haydar Ibrahim, who achieved 2nd place in the Under 17’s Tahqeeq Recitation category. His beautiful recitation and dedication are a source of inspiration for all our youth.
A special congratulations to Dr Saberi, who also earned 2nd place in the Above 17’s category. We are especially grateful to Dr Saberi for his ongoing commitment in providing Qur’an recitation lessons during our Saturday night program at Masjid Al-Rida. His effort and guidance have greatly benefited our community.
We are also proud to acknowledge our respected Sheikh Hossein Javaheri, who served as one of the main judges at the competition. His leadership and scholarship enriched the event and upheld its spiritual integrity.
We thank the organisers and everyone who contributed to making this event a beautiful celebration of the Holy Qur’an. May we continue to nurture Qur’anic excellence in our community for generations to come.
